Children from the Oaks Primary School quizzed pensioners about their life experiences.
The pupils recorded their findings on iPads and will present them to the Tilgate school at the end of term.
The visit to Age UK at the Silver Birch Centre, Tilgate, was also meant to foster intergenerational links between youngsters and the elderly.
Claire Jones, from Age UK, said: “It’s nice that our members will be invited to the school. Hopefully there will be a chance for the relationship to develop further.”
