Drugs warrant led to arrest in Bognor Regis

A MAN was arrested after police executed a drugs warrant in Bognor Regis.

The 34-year-old was apprehended in the town last Friday (February 22).

A quantity of white powder suspected to be amphetamine and 11 wraps of herbal cannabis were seized.

The man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply controlled drugs. He was released on police bail for further enquiries until May 1.

The warrant was executed by the Operation Accent team under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

Operation Accent was set up to target crime and vulnerability within the Eastern European community in the Arun district
