Drivers going into Surrey tomorrow (Sunday August 10) could face delays as the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey event takes place, reaching as far south as Coldharbour and Forest Green.
Some of the world’s top cyclists together with thousands of amateur cyclists are expected to be pedalling across the region’s roadways.
The 100-mile route starts in the Capital’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, travels through Surrey’s towns and countryside, before finishing back in London at The Mall.
There will be inevitable hold-ups for drivers around Dorking and Leatherhead, including Leith Hill.
Combined with expected heavy rainfall and gusting winds, conditions will be difficult on the road.
