Drivers face more tough conditions

Ice and snow continue to cause headaches for drivers this morning (Tuesday March 12).

There are still hazardous driving conditions on the M23 between Junction 9, M23 (Gatwick Airport) and Junction 11, A23 (Pease Pottage).

There are severe delays and difficult driving conditions on the A23 Brighton Road in both directions between Pease Pottage and Patcham.

The A29 in Bury is blocked in both directions between Whiteways Lodge Roundabout and the West Burton Lane junction.

There are hazardous driving conditions on the A264 in both directions in Crawley between Bewbush Manor Roundabout and Moorhead Roundabout.

Plus numerous minor streets across the county are icy.
