Davison High head teacher is to retire

Davison High School head teacher Della West has announced she will retire at the end of the academic year after 11 years in charge.

Mrs West, 60, recently informed staff and parents of her decision and school governors are now beginning the process of finding her successor.

She said: “I shall miss the school, it’s a fantastic organisation.

“I have worked for 39 years and it’s time to let someone else take over.”
