Police are extremely concerned for the safety of a 50-year-old mother who has gone missing from home.
Pamela Moore was last seen leaving her home in Mill Road, Burgess Hill, at about 3am on Friday November 1.
Detective Inspector Sarah Barrett, of West Sussex CID, said: “Although we have no evidence that anything has happened to Pamela, her disappearance is totally out of character.
“She has never been out of contact with her family for so long and she has no mobile phone or cash with her.
“A message was sent to her daughter on Facebook on Saturday claiming to be from Pamela which said that she was safe and well and that she would be in touch in a week.
“However we have no way of being certain that it was sent by Pamela herself.
“Pamela, if you read this please get in touch with us so we know you are ok.”
Mrs Moore is white, 5’6” and of slight build. She has blue eyes, long ginger hair and sometimes wears glasses.
When she was last seen she was wearing a black tracksuit with a white stripe on it, a black hooded top with a white stripe on it and blue trainers.
