Caravan stolen in Sidlesham
A VICTIM of a caravan theft has appealed for the return of his mobile home.
Mark Chatfield said had intended to sell the caravan to pay for maintenance to his house in Eastbourne.
“It’s worth between £7,000 and £8,000,” he said.
The caravan had been stationed just off Fletchers Lane, in Sidlesham, since November, along with a number of other caravans, however Mr Chatfield’s was the only one taken.
All his belongings had been removed from the caravan: “They chucked everything out, so we can’t identify it from our belongings,” he said.
The 22ft, magnolia Baily Pageant Vendee was a single axle caravan, with a security number VIN SGBSCO7BY505049156 written on the windows.
Police estimated the caravan was stolen between 5pm on Friday (February 15) and 11am on Saturday (February 16).
Anyone with information should call police on 101 quoting serial 0622 of 16/2.
