BREAKING: Woman rescued from serious Crawley house fire
A woman has been rescued after a serious house fire in Northgate.
The woman was being cared for by the ambulance service while firefighters tackled the blaze, at around midday today (Monday February 4).
The fire and rescue service said the fire, which struck a terraced house on Shaws Road, had caused substantial damage.
A Fire and Emergency Support Service (FESS) Red Cross Unit has been requested to help the woman with the damage to the home.
A hose reel, a jet and a ventilation fan were being used at the scene.
