Accident at A27 Tangmere roundabout

THERE has been an accident on the A27 near Chichester.

The incident happened around 8pm this evening (March 22) close to the Tangmere roundabout.

West Sussex Fire and Rescue service did not attend the scene, but an eyewitness said both police and an ambulance were present.

The accident took place on the westbound carriageway, near the roundabout.

Planned lane closures have taken place at night along that stretch of the A27, as part of planned improvement works.
