MORE than 8,000 jobs are associated with the South Downs National Park, says a report.
Visitors to the South Downs National Park spend an estimated £464.4 million each year and support more than 8,200 local jobs according to the first visitor survey of the area since the South Downs became a National Park.
The report shows that a large number of local businesses within the South Downs believe that they will benefit from National Park designation and local residents feel positive about what tourism brings to the area.
