AN off-the-wall version of Grease got members on their feet at a Shoreham Conservative Club fundraiser.
The performance featured club members dressed as Pink Ladies and T-Birds, with an impromptu cameo dancing role by the club president and East Worthing and Shoreham MP Tim Loughton.
Mr Loughton said: “‘It is great to see Shoreham Conservative Club doing its bit and yet again raising money for good causes and having a lot of fun at the same time.
“I have never seen the club so packed and it remained so even after I had taken to the dance floor!”
The event, held at the High Street club last Friday, raised £911 for Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice.
Colin Nowlan, club Chairman, said: “It was a great fun night enjoyed by all members and their guests, who gave generously to a good cause.”
