HOBJOINS Barn in Upper Beeding is celebrating its first Christmas with a community market.
The new exhibition space, in Hyde Street, opened in May and offers workshops and life drawing classes.
An exhibition of life drawing works created at the barn will accompany the Christmas celebrations, from Friday, November 18, to Sunday, November 30. It will feature work by students at The Towers Convent School and local artists.
Lucy Watt, artist in residence, said festive music, mulled wine and gifts for sale will help create ‘a real sense of community’.
“With a craft and floristry market, a children’s winter wonderland photography set up, unique gifts and treasures - everyone will enjoy their visit to our 16th century barn,” she added.
The event will be raising money for St Barnabas House hospice, with donations for refreshments going to the Worthing charity.
Opening times are 2pm to 5pm on the Friday, and 11am to 5pm over the weekend.
