Children sought to write scary spook tales

CHILDREN who have the trick of writing a spooky Halloween tale can win a treat from The Martlets Shopping Centre at Burgess Hill.

Youngsters aged 11 to 16 from secondary schools in the Burgess Hill area are being asked to write a story of between 500 and 800 words with a ‘Spooky Halloween’ theme.

All entries will need to be sent to the following address; The Martlets Shopping Centre, c/o PMW Communications, Stane Court, Stane Street, Billingshurst, West Sussex, RH14 9HP.

Entries must show the child’s name, age, school and contact details.
