Pupils from West Green Primary School, Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Primary and Hilltop Primary Schools were among 2,300 10 and 11-year-olds to visit the South of England Agricultural Show in Ardingly.

They went to the showground to learn about rural life at the seventh Connect with the Countryside Day. They tasted local honey, tomatoes and milk, learnt how sausages were made and took part in activities. Pictured here are West Green Primary school pupils Grace, Jenna and Millie making corn dollies.
