Cars on fire after Bognor Regis crash
FIREFIGHTERS fought flames after two cars collided and set alight in Bognor Regis.
The crew from the town’s fire station rushed to the accident at the traffic lights near the junction between Victoria Road and Aldwick Road at 7.11am this morning (February 1).
There was no one trapped in either vehicle, but they were both well alight when firefighters arrived.
Using two breathing apparatus and one hose reel firefighters tackled the flames. They also spread sand on the road.
They gave first aid to one male adult, and a total of three men were assessed at the scene by paramedics. Police were also there to deal with traffic control. Some delays were caused to motorists.
After making sure the area was safe, firefighters left at 7.58am.
