A new scheme has been set up to help support businesses in Haywards Heath.

Haywards Heath Neighbourhood Policing Team are working with local businesses and are inviting them to join the new scheme in the town.

PCSO Anika Clough said: “Business Watch has been set up to help businesses in the Haywards Heath district to connect with Sussex Police, to help prevent and detect crime, increase intelligence and reassure the community.

“The watch is supported by Hayward Heath Town Council, The Town Team, and Haywards Heath District Business Association who encourage businesses to sign up to this scheme.”

The scheme is free of charge, and all correspondence is sent by Sussex Police via an emailing system to businesses of all sizes. A window sticker and useful information folder are provided to all businesses that sign up.

Officers will use the hashtag #SussexBusinessWatch to keep member connected and updated on Twitter.

If you would like further details or to join the scheme, please contact Haywards Heath Neighbourhood Policing Team by email on haywardsheath.npt@sussex.pnn.police.uk
