NDEPENDENT timber and builder’s merchant Covers is creating four new jobs as part of a major expansion in Horsham.
The local firm, which has 12 branches across Sussex and Hampshire, has ambitious plans to move from its current premises on Foundry Lane to a brand new one acre depot 300 metres down the road, also on Foundry Lane.
In addition to creating four new full time posts, the move will allow Covers to vastly increase its stock offering for customers.
Operations Director, Henry Green, said: “As a local independent company we are delighted to be able to announce this expansion which will provide an improved service to our existing and future new customers.
“We have a very loyal customer base in Horsham and are pleased to be able to provide them with fantastic new facilities and an extended range of products, as well as our usual competitive prices.”
The new Covers depot will see a return to the supply of a range of loose aggregates.
Final preparations are currently being carried out on site, which will open to trade and retail next Monday (March 12) at 7.30am with a week of special offers.
