THE FOURTH Gatwick Diamond Business Awards were launched on Friday October 14.
Created and delivered by the Gatwick Diamond Business Association (Cadia), the Awards are a feature of the Gatwick Diamond business calendar.
Winners will be those businesses or people who have shown ‘innovation and inspiration in their work’ as well as demonstrated ‘a real commitment to the sub-region’, say organisers.
Categories include: Business Person of the Year sponsored by Santander Corporate Banking; The Award for Developing People for Business Success sponsored by Central Sussex College; Digital Media Campaign of the Year sponsored by Gatwick Airport; and The Award for Corporate Responsibility sponsored by Thales.
In addition, Crawley Borough Council’s Green Business Programme is headline sponsor of three distinct Awards to recognise the Green Agenda.
Nominations are now sought from the Gatwick Diamond business community.
IMpressionaist and TV comedian Rory Bremner will host the black tie awards ceremony at Copthorne Effingham Park Hotel, Millennium Suite on March 22, 2012.
Over the next six weeks there will be a series of seminars to help any business thinking of entering any of the awards.
At the two hour sessions called ‘How to Win Awards … & Influence People’, attendees will hear from previous years’ winners and some of this years’ judges and sponsors to find out what they need to do to complete an award-winning entry.
