Bramber car is destroyed by fire

A CAR was destroyed by fire in Bramber yesterday afternoon.

The blaze spread to two wheelie bins and 8m of fencing outside a house in Botolphs Road.

Steyning firefighters were called at 1.45pm and reported the fire was accidental.

A spokesperson for West Sussex Fire and Rescue said it was believed a number of cars were stored at the site.

Two firefighters with breathing apparatus tackled the fire using a hose reel and thermal imaging camera.
