Since the publication of Kathryn Evans’s debut young adult novel, More of Me, rights have sold in several countries including Germany and the USA and she’s appeared at the Edinburgh Book Festival.

To top it all, More of Me has been nominated for the Carnegie Medal 2017.

Kathryn is delighted.

She said: “It’s a very long list of nominees but the award is the most prestigious children’s book award in the country - the only way to be on that list is to be nominated by a librarian and that’s why it means so much.

Libraries are the heart of learning, I’ve haunted them all my life, I am beyond thrilled and so grateful.”

Kathryn is running a Masterclass for 11-16 year old budding writers at Chichester library on November 5.

Places are very limited so book at www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/magic-spark-to-manuscript-writing-workshop-with-kathryn-evans-tickets-27995023870.
