A COUPLE raising money for the Children of Syria Appeal are putting on an audio visual presentation in Upper Beeding.

Sara Procter and John Cole have already shown their photographs and video footage to Steyning Camera Club and received ‘very positive responses’.

Syria 2009 is ‘a photo journey through a lost world’ to support Syrian refugees.

Sara said: “It is based on photos and video footage shot by my husband and I during a journey through Syria and the Middle East in 2009.

“We have already shown this at a small venue in Steyning as a fundraising event, which raised £350 towards the Save the Children appeal.”

The presentation will be at Beeding Village Hall, in High Street, Upper Beeding, on Thursday, March 3, at 7.30pm. It will be followed by tea, coffee, biscuits and chat.
