Crawley Borough Council will sign a Community Covenant on Armed Forces Day to encourage people to show their support for our men and women in uniform.
From 10am on Saturday (June 29), the Civic Hall, in The Boulevard, will host displays and demonstrations from armed forces cadets, serving troops and veterans.
All money raised will be donated to service charities.
West Sussex County Council has been flying the Armed Forces Day flag from its HQ all week.
Council leader Louise Goldsmith said: “The entire country owes an enormous debt of gratitude to our Armed Forces, and as a council we will be showing our pride by flying the flag from County Hall to mark this important week in the nation’s calendar.”
