SHOREHAM Academy is celebrating a 100 per cent pass rate at A-level for the first time.
The number of students gaining A* grades at A-level and equivalent showed a marked increase, with 10.1 per cent of entries achieving this maximum grade, compared to 3.8 per cent last year.
Vice-principal Dave Oakes said: “The students and the staff have worked especially hard to achieve these good results.
“The 100 per cent pass rate is proof that the monitoring processes put in place here at Shoreham Academy have really made a difference.”
There were some outstanding achievements, both at A-level and AS-level, building on last year’s success.
Principal Heidi Brown said: “It is pleasing that our AS results were the best ever across all performance indicators - once again demonstrating the positive journey students experience at Shoreham Academy.”
