Two new names will be the civic faces of Burgess Hill Town Council this year.
Cllr Chris Thomas-Atkin, from Victoria ward, is the new chairman for 2008-9 and Cllr Ian Simpson, from Franklands ward, is vice-chairman.

Both were chosen by fellow councillors at the annual town council meeting.

Mr Thomas-Atkin was vice chairman last year and succeeds Cllr Andrew Barrett-Miles.
