Mid Sussex festive refuse collections

REFUSE collection days are due to change for the Christmas and New Year period but will revert to normal on January 11.
Residents can access information about their collection day and whether they are due a blue lidded recycling collection or a grey lidded landfill collection by entering their postcode at www.midsussex.gov.uk/mymidsussex or by calling the Refuse and Recycling Team on 01444 477440.

Listed below is the usual collection day followed by the new collection date:

Monday December 21 now Saturday December 19.

Tuesday December 22 now Monday December 21.

Wednesday December 23 now Tuesday December 22.

Thursday December 24 now Wednesday December 23.

Friday December 25 now Thursday December 24.

Monday December 28 now Tuesday December 29.

Tuesday December 29 now Wednesday December 30.

Wednesday December 30 now Thursday December 31.

Thursday December 31 now Saturday January 2.

Friday January 1 now Monday January 4.

Monday January 4 now Tuesday January 5.

Tuesday January 5 now Wednesday January 6.

Wednesday January 6 now Thursday January 7.

Thursday January 7 now Friday January 8

Friday January 8 now Saturday January 9

Garden Waste collections due on December 25, 26 and 28 will be held instead on December 29, 30 and 31.

They revert to normal from January 4, 2010.
