Customers are left waiting for curtains after the sudden closure of Fabric Warehouse in Burgess Hill.
The last remaining materials on the shelves ay Hoadley's Corner near Junction Road were being cleared this week as administrators took over the running of all the company's stores.

Administrator Neil Bennett said: "By late last year the business was already in difficulties, due, in the view of the directors, to consecutive interest rate rises and a challenging retail environment and the business in its current form became unsustainable."

The building was formerly a Courts furnishing store but its longest use was for the old Hoadleys department store which traded for 126 years from 1857.
