The Hawth Crawley is known for the wide choice of music on offer throughout the year, and this includes great Jazz from some of the best performers around.

The coming months bring together top performers from across the country for audiences to enjoy, as part of a Jazz Lunch or at one of the Studio Jazz sessions.

Studio Jazz: Enjoy the performance in a cabaret setting complete with a choice of daily specials or sharing platters from Café Vita and drinks at your table.

Sister Sadie Wed 27 February 7.45pm

Sister Sadie is a 5-piece featuring the distinctively funky soul jazz of Horace Silver including The Preacher, Song For My Father and Sister Sadie itself.

The band is Clare Hirst (saxophone), Andrea Vicari (piano), Barbara Snow (trumpet, flugelhorn, vocals),

Julie Walkington (bass) and Simon Lea (drums).

LD Frazier Wed 17 April 7.45pm

LD Frazier makes every concert memorable with his unique, warm expressive and engaging performances. Gospel songs and stories - from early origins in spirituals to its current influence on pop music and jazz.

Georgia Mancio Wed 15 May 7.45pm

Georgia Mancio has established herself as one of the UK’s most important jazz vocalist, earning the respect of audiences and musicians alike. A performer of pure class, she is accompanied by the award-winning guitarist Nigel Price.

Mother’s Day Jazz Lunch: Manhattan Magic with Lesley Alexander

Sun 10 March 12noon - 2.30pm, Spotlight

A special jazz lunch for Mother’s Day with the New York singer Lesley Alexander’s Manhattan Magic, featuring great jazz, blues and soul from Ella Fitzgerald to Aretha Franklin. Lesley who

sang with The Roy Budd Orchestra in the iconic film Get Carter will perform with Hugh Ockendon on piano and bass keys. Enjoy the music alongside a traditional roast with a choice of meats followed by a dessert of your choice. Fish and vegetarian options available. Advance booking essential.
