OUR Looking Back piece on Worthing Boys’ Choir (June 6 edition), thrilled Littlehampton reader Marilyn Dennis.

“What happened to all those boys?” she said.

“Every choir I’ve sung with or played for has struggled to find enough tenors and basses to balance all the sopranos and altos. I’d love to know what sort of songs the boys used to sing. Come on, you worthy gentlemen – you’re never too old to sing. Edwin and co would be very welcome to come along and join us at (for instance) the Arun U3A Singing for Pleasure choir, which is great fun and tailor-made for seniors.”
