Saxon Down – Ashton Green – Ringmer (pub lunch at The Anchor Inn) – Malling Hill – River Ouse – Lewes. 8½ miles. Linear walk. Train Haywards Heath 0935 change Lewes to the 1009 arrives Glynde 1014. Return trains from Lewes 05 40 past the hour to Haywards Heath, 14 past for Glynde. Drivers car park in the Glynde village car park, TQ 457088, and await the train party. No dogs please.
