RAM raiders reversed through a shop window in a bid to steal a safe early on Tuesday (March 11).
Police are hunting three men who drover a dark-coloured Volvo into the Mini Mart in Seadown Parade, Bowness Avenue, Sompting at about 3am, got out and tried to pull out a safe.

They were disturbed by residents living in a flat above and fled the scene empty-handed, driving northwards up Western Road.

Part of the car registration was V70. The shop was able to open on Tuesday morning, although part of the front window was damaged.

Anyone with information about the raid should contact Shoreham CID on 0845 6070999.
