Two car collision

THREE people were rescued after two cars collided this afternoon.
The incident happened at 3.45pm on Brighton Road, Woodmancote, near Henfield.

Fire fighters from Henfield, Hurstpierpoint and Partridge Green rushed to the scene.

A heavy rescue vehicle also arrived from Horsham.

Trapped people at the scene were cut free with specialist equipment.

A fire rescue service spokesman said they were rushed to hospital.

The road was closed and emergency services were still at the scene tonight.
