POLICE are investigating a crash between a bus and a van which left a man seriously injured.

Dunsfold Road near Plaistow was closed following the collision which happened shortly before 1pm on Friday September 5.
The driver of a white FedEx transit van was airlifted to the Royal London Hospital, in Whitechapel, with serious injuries, a police spokesman said on the scene.
The other vehicle involved was a single-decker Arriva bus.
"There was the driver and three passengers on the bus and nobody on the bus was hurt," said Sergeant James Biggs of Hove Road Policing Unit.
Collision investigators were on the scene, and the bus was examined by the Operating Standards Agency.
