A MUSICAL inspired by one woman's cancer story is being premiered in Sussex this month.
The countdown is on to the opening night of The Dream Maker written by mum-of-three Jill Landskroner.

Jill, of Sedgwick Lane, Horsham, has penned 26 songs for the show which begins at The Capitol Theatre in Horsham on February 23. All proceeds will go to Cancer Research UK.

Jill's life changed in December 2007 when she was diagnosed with a rare occult cancer (where a secondary cancer is discovered but the site of the primary cancer cannot be pinpointed).

Jill was told she was at 'extreme high risk'. She needed an immediate operation followed by months of chemotherapyand then radiotherapy and herceptin. Now the intensive part of her treatment is over and while not officially in remission, Jill is well and feeling stronger by the day.

The Dream Maker will run from February 23-26. Tickets are £15 from www.thecapitolhorsham.com or 01403 750 220. Also see www.songdream.co.uk
