THERE is a 60 per cent chance of heatwave conditions in the Horsham district this week.
The Met Office has warned that areas are at risk from tomorrow (Monday June 29) onwards.

Daytime temperatures could reach 31/32degC, while in the evening it could only drop to 16/18degC.

The Met Office has issued a Level 2 warning (maximum is level 4), saying that these temperatures could have significant effect on health if reached on at least two consecutive days and the intervening night.

The UV prediction for parts of the week is level 7, with the advice being to seek shade during midday hours, cover up and wear sunscreen.
