A LITTLE foal had a lucky escape this afternoon (Sunday November 1) after firecrews rescued him from a fence.
Firecrews rushed to the scene at the Dairy Farm in Rowhook, near Horsham, at around 1pm this afternoon after reports that the little six-month-old horse had run into difficulty.

The little creature had become stuck in a fence at the farm.

Crews managed to free the stricken creature by dismantling the fence.

He was reunited with his owner, and is said to be none the worse for his ordeal.

A spokeswoman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue said: "We rescued a six-month-old foal this afternoon.

"It had become stuck in on a fence in Rowhook, at the Dairy Farm on the Bognor Road just off the A29.

"It is fine now. We managed to free it by dismantling the gate and fence to free it."
