BIKER Barry Trevor Tomlin died when he crashed his motorbike into a chevron sign near Warnham, the coroner's office confirmed today.

A post mortem will be carried out today on the body of the 30-year-old from Swanley in Kent, who was on a social ride with friends when he lost control of his blue 600cc Honda sports bike near the A24 Knob Hill junction on Sunday afternoon (July 20), West Sussex coroner's officer Lindon Langley said.
Police and paramedics were called to the accident at about 2.05pm.
Anyone who saw the motorbike around that time or witnessed the accident is asked to contact police on 0845 6070 999, quoting Operation Penryn.
