FAMILY of Janusz Bartloszewski have told of their frustration at the lack of news on his death.

The body of Mr Bartloszewski, a Polish man who was working as a driver at Pickfords, was discovered in the Horsham Park maze by a warden early on the morning of Sunday, August 3.

Nearly three weeks after his as yet unexplained death, his body has still not been returned to Poland, as post mortem tests continue.
Janusz' brother, Andrzej, wrote to wscountytimes.co.uk from Poland appealing for information.

His widow, Elzbieta Bartloszewska, gave a statement in Polish, in which she thanked everyone in Horsham who had shown an interest in her husband's life.

Meanwhile, friends from Horsham remembered a 'sweet, kind man', who loved showing them pictures of his family back home.

Mrs Bartloszewska wrote: "Thank you and everyone who has shown an interest in my husband's life," she wrote.

She added that she was unemployed, and didn't know how things would work out for her and the two children, Michal, 11, and Monika 16.

She said her husband enjoyed his work as a driver for Pickfords, which he had been doing for two years, working in Horsham on a three month contract from June to September.

A spokesman for the West Sussex Coroner's Office said: "We are still awaiting the findings of a post mortem examination which was carried out on Mr Bartloszewski.

"The death is not being treated as suspicious. It is expected Mr Bartloszewski will be repatriated back to his family in Poland in the near future."

The spokesman said information was available to the family via the funeral directors in Poland.
