A MEETING to discuss parking facilities at the new-look Angmering School has been moved.
Angmering Parish Council's planning committee has announced that it will meet tomorrow (Tuesday, February 17) at the council offices, in The Square, rather than at St Margaret's School, as previously advertised.
Many of the village's residents are outraged that £2.5m plans to revamp the school, in Station Road, contain no extra parking spaces.
One resident of neighbouring Greenwood Drive, who asked not to be named, said: " We are all in favour of them have a new building, it is
long over due."
She added though that her road was used as a car park for the school, and that extra parking provision should be made on the school site.
"The road is very narrow, and people park on the pavement, they over take on bends. Emergency services vehicles can't get through."
She will be one of many at the Angmering Parish Council planning committee meeting.
Ray Huskisson, clerk of the council, said this was not a special public meeting, but a standard meeting of the committee.
"These meetings are, of course, open to the public, and there will be a opportunity for a few people to talk."
The meeting will start at 7.30pm.
