Organisers have thanked the Lumbard family,Carolyn Basham and Alisha Howard for helping set up the show jumps and for Frank Lumbard for also helping put them away.


The day began with the smallest class for very novice rider.With the fences set at 1'3ft - 1'6ft this was ideal for beginners and lead rein riders.


First went to Helen Underwood and Murphy Closely followed by Sammy Enticott riding Lottie Ashlin's New Forest pony Myer.This was to be a good day for them, for they were also placed second and sixth in two other classes. Well done to them both as this was Myer's first jumping show.


Those in class 2 - fences1'6'' -1'9'' showed a good turn of speed with only .2 of a second separating first placed Lizzie Saxony on Frankie and second placed Sammy Enticott on Myer.


Then the fences grew a little to 2'0'' -2'3''. It was good to see young club member Jessica Tompkins and Fella back in action being placed first in not only this class but also in the next.


She just pipped Emily Robinson on Comet, who belongs to Jessicas sister, Isabelle, who was not riding as she has her arm in plaster.
