A FORMER top international event rider from Scotland, Suzi Rae, has opened a new livery yard at Bucks Green, near Horsham, which specialises in providing excellent facilities for competition riders and enthusiasts.
Golden Oak Eventing, which opened this week is based in a striking Victorian yard which will cater for eventers through to show ponies and also take in pleasure riders who want to benefit from the professional supervision and atmosphere.

On the West Sussex and Surrey county border, the traditional style small yard has light and airy stables which are solidly constructed and finished with white washed walls and brickwork. Traditional split top wooden doors and hanging flower baskets and planters all contribute to an old-English atmosphere.

From there she will be returning to eventing, following the birth of her son, Lachlan, partnering her new horse Fastnet Rock.
