More new blood, less blue blood

THE first chukkas of 2008 polo season were a little more unusual than expected at Sussex polo club, based at Rowfant in West Sussex.
The polo fields were under five inches under snow.

There were two memebrs of the team who found the snow fascinating- two foals born last summer had never seen snow before and were delighted to be running round in this peculiar white stuff.

Because of the snow, the first chukkas were put back to Saturday April 19.
