ARUNDEL-raised jockey Liam Treadwell has been awarded the coveted Richard Davis Award for the top conditional jockey accumulating the most points during the National Hunt season, which ended on April 27.
The 22-year-old, who has been based with trainer Venetia Williams in Hereford, received the award at the last meeting of the season at Stratford Races.

The annual competition is in memory of Richard Davis, a jockey who was killed when riding in a race in 1996, and relates to wins accumulated at Cheltenham, Chepstow, Hereford, Ludlow, Stratford, Towcester, Warwick and Worcester racecourses.
