AN Ashurst rider is celebrating the outstanding achievement of qualifying all three of her show ponies for the Horse of the Year Show 2010.
Not only that, but Lauren Kingston (21) has also qualified the trio for the prestigious Royal International Horse Show, where she will be competing today this week.
Lauren had a good grounding when she rode top class show ponies produced by the Jago family until she was 14. She achieved a win in the first ridden at the Royal International with the renowned Drayton Swansong during that time.
Lauren is delighted with her ponies' outstanding achievements this year.
She said:"Qualifying for the Horse of the Year show is every rider's dream. Last year I qualified Glencarrig Duke for the Royal International, but he slipped and fell and never went to the show, because he had to have two months off."
