WEST Sussex-trained Illustrious Blue is among the horses to go forward to the latest forfeit stage of the £150,000 totesport Mile At Glorious Goodwood on Friday, August 1.
The course specialist, trained locally at Angmering Park by William Knight, has won five times from eight starts at the track, with his worst finish being a fourth place in Listed company.

The five-year-old's victories include a Glorious Goodwood triumph over the course and distance in 2006, although he has been campaigned over further in the past two seasons, winning the 10-furlong Listed Festival Stakes at the course in May 2007.

Knight revealed: "Illustrious Blue is entered in the totesport Mile and there is also a mile-and-a-quarter heritage handicap at Goodwood on the first day (£50,000 Bank Of Scotland Investment Services Handicap), so that's an option, but there is a definite possibility that he could go for the totesport Mile.

"He is also in a Listed race at Newbury on Saturday and he could run there as well as at Goodwood.
