THE sun came out, the polo was fast and there was lots of action at the Equine Veterinary Hospital Polo High Goal Challenge at Hickstead.
This is the second year that the Arundel hospital has sponsored the event and more than 200 spectators attended.

Ed Lyall, one of the practice partners, said: "It is a developing sport and attracting a lot of young riders, while the purpose-built arena at Hickstead makes it easy going for the ponies."


It makes an exciting spectator sport and having it in a fenced arena means people can see the action from beginning to end with very little stoppage time.
