CRAWLEY & Horsham South Pony Club members Izzy Brookes, Jenni Burgess, Phili Pickard and Aimee King represented their branch of the Pony Club at the Area 13 South Central Intermediate Dressage qualifier at Berkshire College of Agriculture recently with outstanding success.
Phili (18) riding her pony Spencer won Arena D with 70.74 per cent, Jenni (15) riding her ex racehorse Argentum, bred and trained by Lady Herries in Angmering Park, came second in Arena B with 68.5 per cent, Aimee King (16) riding her ex racehorse Royal Rackeen came 5th in Arena C with 68.89 per cent, and Izzy Brookes (20) riding Jenni's pony Bryndale Debutante in Arena A achieved 60.74, unplaced, but a very good score in a highly competitive arena, especially as she had only ridden the pony three times.
