RIDING high in her quest to take the lady jockey's title in Arab racing this year is Anna Wallace, of Angmering.
She is enjoying an outstanding season, with the main highlight being her first double at Hereford on August 2 and she is currently leading lady rider for Arab racing.

She also had a memorable win when riding under Rules at Leicester in June for trainer Brian Baugh, partnering a horse that had not won for four years.

Both horses in her excellent double were trained by Dave Paton at Alton, Hampshire.

The double was sparked off by Notid, an eight-year-old who won at 5-1 over two miles, getting home for victory on the line by a nose. Then Anna brought Gazal, a five-year-old gelding home to win the one and a half mile race by seven lengths to complete the double. Both horses race under the banner of BXPS Partnership.
