HUNDREDS of people flocked to the town centre as the second Crawley Ratha Yatra festival rolled into Queens Square.
The Hare Krishna festival of chariots, which debuted to much success last year, drew crowds again on Sunday.

The ancient festival announced its arrival in a colourful swirl of dancing, singing and a free vegetarian feast.

Festival organiser Jiggy Nahee, 28, of Worth Road, Pound Hill, who along with four friends launched the event last year, said this year was better than ever.

He said: "It was amazing, we were just trying to make it a little bit better than last year, promote it more and get a few more people involved and it was a big success.

"The turnout was amazing, the people loved it, we had devotees from the Soho temple and the Watford temple as well, they loved it, the loved the Crawley town centre."
