Flooding at Broadfield office

FIRECREWS were called to a Broadfield office last night (Friday February 20) after 'severe' water damage was caused by flooding.
The incident happened at 9:10pm last night at the Novo Nordisk office in Broadfield Business Park.

Its thought an electrian cut through a water pipe causing severe water damage to the office.

Crews had to try and stem the flow of water which was said to be gushing from the building.

A spokesman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were called to reports of flooding at the Novo Nordisk office at Broadfield Business Park at 9:10pm.

"Its thought an electrician cut through a water pipe.

"There was a fair amount of damage caused to the building.

"We stopped the water flow. It was really gushing from the building.

"We secured the scene, but there is a fair bit of water damage inside."
