THE DALEKS have landed in Crawley – one of the Doctor Who baddies was spotted lurking amongst the roses in a town centre florist.
Boulevard Florist recruited the monster-model as window dressing after he found himself out of a job.

The life size reproduction was originally created for a play and toured the UK before branching into his new modelling career.

And the florists even decked him out for his debut in a groom's top hat to match the wedding displays currently gracing their window.

Shop manager Sally Mills, 43, said: "We've dressed him up as a groom to go with our wedding stuff, lots of people come in to have a look at him and hopefully someone will want him.

"He needs a new home.

"He was made for a production but the man who made him didn't have the space to store him so we said we'd put him in the window."
